"I can see your future: you will spend 2000 hours playing a game".

Rome II naval could be tactically fun: oars smashing, trireme ramming, boarding plank,... I just hope they don't make the boat burn too easily (because if it could burn too easily, then there is no need to board nor ram).

Now now, don't get too excited before the game is out. :P Don't overhype it. You know that it's likely to be really bugged. :P

Happy no guns, I just hope its not the unbalanced MP mess the first one was. SP should be incredible though.

I think it will be the best SP TW, I have reservations about MP though Rome TW split the community online as it was an unbalanced buggy mess, lots of players including myself and Amp stopped playing.

It has the potential to be incredible I just hope CA don't fuck it up, lots of factions to balance.

However fantastic its not another gun era.

they seriously need to keep mm but not ladder, mm is good for finding battles without having these guy only those stars, and no this and no that, but get rid of avatar, vetting and that damn ladder that doesn't work anyway, and i hope to god they fix those retarded bugs, and maybe put in a ban system =)

MM has a lot to improve. It is a broken one.

I still think having some statistics about what is in the queue would be better: how many teams of 3x3 is waiting for example, and how long the wait. And the pairing should be better too.

About avatar: it would be here to stay, I believe. They thought it is the second best invention after the first Shogun.

Lots of avatar conquest hate here! Which is completely understandable in its current state. I have high hopes for it in Rome 2. There has to be a way to allow every player equal footing (such as: customization options available to all ranks, allowing all units and upgrades) while still retaining some rpg elements. Maybe battles could earn u some currency to vet and save ur units permanently, where as otherwise u have to redo it everytime. U could even buy more vet slots, armor, clan prestige, even expansions to the game.

Also as Amp has said before a ladder in Teirs would be a nice step forward!! ;) I am by nature an eternal optimist tho.

"Battles are also going to be bigger and bloodier affairs too. As the demo of the Siege of Carthage showed, armies and navies can now fight alongside one another and equal treatment is given to battles on sea and land."

This blew me away 8o
