"GMT... (which doesn't know summer time)". Oh really? GMT is missing something... :D

Janis Joplin -- Summertime (interpreted George Gershwin's "Summertime" from "Porgy & Bess") http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rawsYQitKik

I didn't know Janet Joplin was singing a George Gershwin piece (with Jimmy Hendrix on guitar), until I heard this:

Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong -- Summertime http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIDOEsQL7lA

Final Count Down -- Melo-M (Europe Cover) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IliwQImJrYE

and now some gratuitous skins: :) :)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-iUw1xeNeo

and a 90's dance track (I am all over the board today):
Captain Hollywood Project -- Impossible http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMvaIbERu7A
La Bouche -- Be My Lover http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Ka01Y_pYgM

and 80's:
Boney M -- Rasputin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvDMlk3kSYg
Has weapon of mass distraction

I knew i had gotten that song from somewhere i just could not pin point where exactly. I had thought i had heard it from facebook but now i remember where i had heard it from... you :D Its a really laid back, relaxing and mellow song about an interesting topic (conquering of the Americas from the indians) and it was on a pretty cool episode of breaking bad :D

I work out with the Rolling Stones. If Mick Jaeger can jump around for 3 hours when he's over 60, it must be good for cardio :))

EDIT:
Now continue with instruments theme:

Isaac Albeniz -- Asturias -- John Williams on guitar http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oEfFbuT3I6A

Francisco Tarrega -- Recuerdos de la Alhambra -- Kim-Chung Nguyen on guitar (piece started at 0:40) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSzV90Lqv_A

J.S. Bach -- Bouree in E Minor for Lute -- Peo Kingren arranged and played on guitar http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKSg8t4zyLg

This leads to this one that I like (before knowing it was a Bach composition):

Jethro Tull -- Bouree http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N2RNe2jwHE0

Did someone say swedish desert rock (a genre that totally makes sense)?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jEGOAzZPONg truckfighters - desert cruiser

English desert rock?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IF56Q4SyLtU - Desert Sessions - crawl home

Awesome song. :)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQcP1iYiMPI The White Stripes - Cannon

Don't know what this is technically but I like it. For those who prefer something a little slower in pace.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4QXgd1De6M - pj harvey and john parish - black hearted love

A stupid song I heard on loop for several hours on a plane nine years ago but that is kind of catchy. For the non heavy people.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tvd4Nz-Pr7o moloko - sing it back to me

A song from the 90's, that I think is genreless.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-C3NlpaCFgI - everything but the girl - and I miss you

A song thats perfect for a cavalry charge...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1d8JkwVZvCI - tsugaru 180 - revenge vs desire vs vospi

Okay, complete change, punk rock.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apuLs_ayKRM - Fugazi - shut the door

Desert rock or rock? I can't decide.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9p49MAxK7c - qotsa - you can't quit me

Something different. Not heavy.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJKXqTZtdmE grizzly bear - deep sea diver

A very cool band.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLrkE6T_m5Y Portishead - glory box.

Hope, happiness.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y92iKQ699Rw - sigur ros - hoppipolla

Sadness.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKVHko9YIq8 - antony and the johnsons, hope theres someone
