Trawling through law notes and this song is pretty much the only thing that keeps me sane;

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARtNJR8xqF4&feature=related qotsa - I think I lost my headache

The song starts to bite from 2:10, so hang in there. Its a good one. :)

....and when I get back to playing stw2 later this week, this will be my theme song.

I think its sad Josh and Scott are filing a lawsuit agains Kyuss Lives! because they want to make a new studio album, which I do think the old Kyuss should be left alone as legacy but Kyuss Lives intentions are for the true dedicated fans! hec kyuss lives! is making money on the road anyways so dont see the problem :)

For Kfafka:
In the early 80's, bands like Alan Parsons Project experimented with the synthesizer. There came out some wonderful electronic music. Back then, it was a new instrument.

When a Finn guy introduced COB to me, I thought the band's name is "Children of Boredom" :D He knew I like cover songs and was interested in Finn metal (Nightwish mostly). So he suggested:
C.O.B -- Rebel Yell (Billy Idol cover) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SsvNTy_ZOqY

cover songs are, in my view, excellent way of exploring different genre, 'cause you have an element of familiarity, and music is an acquired taste.

One of the best live performances I've seen from any band at a small venue;

Interpol:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGcm8M4DcQc - Roland
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rh3hQEG_sH0&feature=relmfu - Stella was a diver
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03A7Ycj_Nqo&feature=relmfu - Obstacle 1

Interpol have always been one of my favourite bands - they're kind of a mix of Joy Division from the 1980's and more modern rock. Their newer albums are a bit rubbish, but the first two were brilliant, these songs are all from the first. :)

Avenged Seven Fold
Breaking Benjamin
Shinedown
Skillet
Three Days Grace
“You ask, what is our policy? I say it is to wage war with all the strength God has given us. That is our policy. You ask, what is our aim? It is victory. Victory in spite of all terrors for without victory there is no survival."
